The Women's Premier League (WPL) is a professional women's Twenty20 franchise cricket league organised by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Five franchises — Mumbai Indians Women, Delhi Capitals Women, Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women, Gujarat Giants, and UP Warriorz — compete across a league stage and playoffs, with each team blending domestic Indian talent with leading international players acquired through an annual auction.
