Japan Sweep Both Surfing Golds on Home Waves

Hosts Japan dominated surfing's Asian Games debut on home waves, winning both the men's and women's shortboard golds.

Kanoa Igarashi won the men's title ahead of Indonesia's I Made Pajar Ariyana and the Philippines' Jayuard Alciso. In the women's final, Mirai Ikeda topped the podium ahead of China's Siqi Yang, with Japan's Minami Nonaka completing an all-Japanese top two with bronze.
