England completed a dominant white-ball series win over India, taking the five-match T20I series 4-0 (with the opener washed out by rain), and then following up with a 2-1 win in the three-match ODI series. It capped a difficult tour for India, who managed just a single win across all eight fixtures — the first ODI at Edgbaston.

Harry Brook was the difference-maker in the T20Is, striking with intent throughout to finish as the format's leading run-scorer and seal the 4-0 series win. Joe Root then took over in the 50-over leg, batting with control and consistency to guide England home in a series where India's middle order, including a battling effort from captain Shreyas Iyer, was rarely able to build sustained pressure. Sam Curran also impressed with the ball across the tour, finishing among the leading wicket-takers.
