What is a Super Raid in Kabaddi?

A Super Raid is one of kabaddi's most electrifying moments โ€” it occurs when a raider successfully tags 3 or more defenders in a single raid and returns safely to their half. In the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), a Super Raid instantly swings momentum, earns multiple touch points, revives eliminated players, and often draws the loudest roars from the crowd.

Beyond the Super Raid, kabaddi's scoring system includes several bonus point opportunities: crossing the bonus line (when 6+ defenders are on court) earns +1, an All Out (eliminating all 7 defenders) earns a +2 Lona bonus on top of all touch points, and a Super Tackle (stopping the raider with 3 or fewer defenders on the mat) earns the defending team an extra +1.

This calculator helps players, coaches, and fans break down exactly how many points a raid is worth โ€” including all PKL bonus rules โ€” and how many players get revived as a result.

Super Raid
3+ defenders tagged in one raid
Touch Point
+1 per defender tagged
Bonus Point
+1 for crossing bonus line (6+ defenders on court)
All Out (Lona)
+2 bonus to raiding team
Super Tackle
+1 to defending team (โ‰ค3 defenders on mat)
Revival
1 eliminated player revived per touch point scored

How to Use This Calculator

Formula:Total Points = Touch Points + Bonus Point (if applicable) + All Out Bonus (if applicable) + Super Tackle Bonus (if applicable)
1
Defenders Tagged: Enter the number of defenders the raider successfully tagged and returned safely past. Each tag = 1 touch point. Maximum is 7 (all defenders).
2
Defenders on Court: Enter how many defenders were on the court before the raid began. This determines whether the bonus line is active (requires 6+).
3
Bonus Line Crossed: Did the raider cross the bonus line before touching any defender? Select Yes only if the bonus line was active (6+ defenders on court).
4
All Out: Did this raid complete an All Out โ€” all 7 defenders sent to the sitting block? If yes, +2 bonus points are added.
5
Super Tackle: Did the defending team stop the raider with 3 or fewer players on the mat? If yes, defenders earn +1 bonus point.
