The all-around title goes to the gymnast with the highest combined total across all apparatus: six for men (floor, pommel horse, still rings, vault, parallel bars, horizontal bar) and four for women (vault, uneven bars, balance beam, floor). The all-around is widely regarded as the sport's most complete test.

Enter the final score from each apparatus and this calculator returns the total, the average per apparatus, and the strongest and weakest apparatus so you can see where the points were gained or lost.

One fall can cost a gymnast a full point or more on a single apparatus, and that deficit has to be recovered across the rest of the programme. All-around champions are typically the athletes who combine high difficulty with very few errors across every event.

Looking at the spread between the best and weakest apparatus shows how a total was built, which is useful for coaches choosing where to invest training time and for fans who want to understand a result beyond the final number.

Floor exercise, pommel horse, still rings, vault, parallel bars and horizontal bar. The total is the sum of the six final scores.
