What Is the All-Out Bonus in Kabaddi?
An All Out (also called a Lona) happens when a raiding team eliminates every one of the seven opposing defenders — through a combination of touch points and tackles going against the defending side over multiple raids — before any of them are revived. When the 7th and final defender is sent to the sitting block, the raiding team is awarded a bonus of 2 extra points on top of everything already scored, and all 7 eliminated defenders are immediately revived back onto the court.
This calculator checks whether a specific raid — given how many defenders were already on the court and how many were tagged in that raid — results in an All Out, and computes the resulting bonus and total raid points.
How to Use This Calculator
Why the All-Out Bonus Is Kabaddi's Biggest Swing Play
A +2 bonus on top of the raid's own points, combined with instantly wiping out a numbers disadvantage the raiding team may have been carrying, makes an All Out capable of erasing a multi-point deficit in a single 30-second raid — which is exactly why it's treated as the single biggest momentum shift the sport has, comparable to a grand slam in cricket or a shorthanded goal in hockey.
It also shapes defensive strategy directly: coaches will often deliberately sacrifice a weaker defender early to avoid leaving their remaining strongest defenders exposed to a final tagging raid that could trigger the All Out, accepting a smaller loss now to prevent the larger one later.
?Frequently Asked Questions
No — an All Out counts the cumulative eliminations across multiple raids (and tackle attempts against the raiding side), not just one raid. The final defender being eliminated — whether by a touch point or a failed tackle attempt that sends a raider through — is what triggers the All Out, regardless of how many earlier raids contributed to the count.
