About the women's ODI bowling rankings
The ICC women's ODI bowling rankings rate individual bowlers on a points scale. Wickets are weighted by the quality of the batters dismissed, the result of the match, and how the figures compare with the rest of the game, so taking the wicket of a top-order batter counts for more than taking one from the tail.
ODI ratings react to every completed series and tournament, so the order can shuffle noticeably after a World Cup, a bilateral series or a multi-nation tournament.
A bowler with a high rating has been consistently effective over many matches, not just in one spell.
How to read this table
Rank is the player's current position in this format. A green or red arrow shows how many places they moved since the last update.
Rating is the player's points score. A gap of a few points between neighbours is small and can flip after one innings or spell; a gap of 50+ points usually reflects a real difference in form over time.
The country under each name is the team the player represents.
