Enzo Fernandez's move to Manchester City has advanced significantly, with the midfielder reported to have agreed personal terms on a contract at the Etihad as City work to finalise a club-to-club deal around Chelsea's £120 million valuation.

According to multiple reports, Fernandez has given the green light to a move, with sources indicating the World Cup winner has already agreed terms on a long-term contract with City. The remaining hurdle is now a fee agreement between the two Premier League clubs, with City expected to submit a formal bid before the transfer window closes on September 1, potentially making Fernandez the most expensive signing in Premier League history.

The developments follow Fernandez's continued absence from Chelsea's matchday squad, including Thursday's Carabao Cup win over Luton Town, despite head coach Xabi Alonso initially suggesting he expected the midfielder to be involved.
