Tottenham Agree Ndiaye Deal as Richarlison Set for Everton Return in Separate Transfers

Tottenham and Everton have reached agreements in principle for two separate transfers that will see Iliman Ndiaye head to north London while Richarlison makes a return to Merseyside, according to widely reported transfer news.

Spurs moved quickly after missing out on Liverpool's Cody Gakpo, who opted for a move to Manchester City instead, turning their attention to Ndiaye as an alternative attacking option. The Senegal international has rejected multiple contract extension offers from Everton over the past year, and his want-away stance left the Toffees with little choice but to negotiate an exit. The Brazilian was left out entirely from Spurs' matchday squad for Saturday's 2-0 home defeat to Newcastle, with head coach Roberto De Zerbi confirming afterwards that the forward had made his desire to leave clear on multiple occasions. Richarlison scored 32 goals in 134 appearances during his time at Tottenham, but had grown increasingly frustrated with a lack of regular football.

Both moves are structured as entirely separate transactions rather than a formal swap deal, though they have been negotiated in tandem between the two clubs. Both deals remain subject to players agreeing personal terms and passing medicals, with all parties hopeful of completing the paperwork before Tuesday's transfer deadline.
