England Reclaim No. 1 T20I Ranking, Ending India's 1,602-Day Reign at the Top

England have reclaimed the No. 1 spot in the ICC Men's T20I Team Rankings, effective July 11, ending India's 1,605-day reign at the top of the format.

The milestone follows England's dominant 4-0 series whitewash of India at home, one of their most emphatic bilateral results in the format.

In the latest rankings update, England move to the summit with 269 rating points, with India dropping to second on 268 points. Just a single point separates the two sides.

It's also a landmark return for England, marking their first time back at No. 1 in the format since September 2012, completing a long climb back to the top of T20I cricket.
