Livramento Withdraws From England Squad Ahead of Spain Clash

Newcastle United and England full-back Tino Livramento has officially withdrawn from Thomas Tuchel's squad for this month's Nations League fixtures, after an MRI scan on a fresh injury picked up in training last week.

Livramento had been named alongside four other players, Kobbie Mainoo, Cole Palmer, Marcus Rashford and Declan Rice, among five total withdrawals from the squad due to injury. He picked up the issue in training just as he appeared set to earn his first start of the season for Newcastle following a recent calf problem that had already ruled him out of the World Cup.

Newcastle have not disclosed the nature or severity of the problem, and his availability beyond this international break remains uncertain. His withdrawal leaves Tuchel further short at right-back for tonight's clash against world champions Spain at Wembley, with Real Madrid's Trent Alexander-Arnold recalled to bolster the position.
