Five Different Nations Win Gold Across Asian Games Esports Finals

The Asian Games esports program handed out five golds across a range of titles, with Malaysia, Iran, China, South Korea and Japan each topping a different event.

Malaysia's Taj Izrin Aiman Taj Madira won the Gran Turismo 7 title, while Iran beat Malaysia in the eFootball final. China topped the NARAKA: BLADEPOINT team event ahead of Thailand, and South Korea won the fighting games title (spanning Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8 and The King of Fighters XV) ahead of Japan. Japan's Yuki Kurihara completed the set of golds with victory in Puyo Puyo Champions on home soil.
