Vietnam Win Women's Team Kata Gold as Jordan and Malaysia Top Kumite

Karate's second day of finals at the Asian Games produced golds for Jordan, Malaysia, Iran and Vietnam across four weight categories and the women's team kata.

Jordan's Mohammad Alja'Fari won the men's kumite -84kg title, while Malaysia's Adeola Fay Robert took women's -55kg gold. Iran's Morteza Nemati added the men's -75kg title to the country's growing tally in the discipline.

In the women's team kata final, Vietnam won gold ahead of Iran, with the Philippines and Chinese Taipei sharing bronze.
