China Sweep All Five Individual Table Tennis Golds

China swept all five individual table tennis titles at the Asian Games, taking every gold and silver on offer across the men's and women's singles and doubles, and the mixed doubles.

Lin Shidong completed a hat-trick of golds: men's doubles with Huang Youzheng, mixed doubles with Kuai Man (beating fellow Chinese pair Sun Yingsha and Wang Chuqin in that final), and men's singles, beating Wang Chuqin in an all-China final. India's Diya Chitale and Manush Shah had earlier secured bronze in the mixed doubles.

In the women's events, Wang Manyu beat compatriot Sun Yingsha for singles gold, with Japan's Miwa Harimoto and Hina Hayata sharing bronze. Wang then paired with Kuai Man to win women's doubles gold as well, beating Japan's Harimoto and Hayata in that final.

The results add to China's dominant campaign in the sport, having already won three of the four team golds on offer, with only the men's team title going to Japan.
