Iran's Ali Alipour Wins Men's 95kg Weightlifting Gold

Iran's Ali Alipour won gold in the men's 95kg weightlifting final at the Asian Games in Nagoya.

Kazakhstan's Nurgissa Adiletuly took silver, and China's Yi Tu claimed bronze.

The gold is Iran's latest medal in a weightlifting programme that North Korea and China have otherwise dominated, with North Korea taking seven golds and China three across the earlier weight categories at these Games.
