Japan Sweep BMX Racing Golds, Split Freestyle Titles With China

Japan and China shared the BMX golds at the Asian Games, with Japan sweeping BMX racing and freestyle events split between the two nations.

In BMX racing, Japan's Asuma Nakai and Hyoga Kiuchi went 1-2 in the men's final, while Sae Hatakeyama won the women's title ahead of China's Wanyi Liao and Indonesia's Jasmine Azzahra Setyobudi. In freestyle BMX park, China's Sibei Sun won the women's title ahead of Japan's Miharu Ozawa, while Japan's Rimu Nakamura topped the men's event ahead of compatriot Kaede Ozawa.
