Portugal Beat Denmark 4-2 in Six-Goal Thriller to Stay Perfect Without Ronaldo

Portugal made it three wins from three in the Nations League, beating Denmark 4-2 away in a six-goal thriller at Parken Stadium, to open a six-point lead at the top of Group A4 without Cristiano Ronaldo, who was left out of the matchday squad.

Goncalo Ramos was involved in both of Portugal's first-half goals, setting up Joao Cancelo's opener before finishing a Bruno Fernandes pass to restore the lead after Mikkel Damsgaard had equalised with a curling effort. Damsgaard turned provider for Rasmus Hojlund to make it 2-2 early in the second half, but Portugal pulled away through Vitinha's near-post header and a late Joao Felix finish on the counter.

It continues a perfect start for Jorge Jesus since replacing Roberto Martinez, with Group A4 now showing Portugal six points clear of second-placed Norway, who lost at Wales on the same night.
