Wales Beat 10-Man Norway 2-1 for First Nations League Win, Haaland Kept Quiet
Wales claimed their first Nations League A win of the campaign, fighting back from behind to beat 10-man Norway 2-1 in Cardiff, with Erling Haaland kept quiet throughout.
Norway took a shock lead through Oscar Bobb, but Craig Bellamy's side responded strongly after Norway were reduced to ten men, with Daniel James levelling the scores before Neco Williams struck the winner. Haaland had late chances to rescue a point, heading one effort over the bar and seeing another saved, but could not find a way past goalkeeper Danny Ward.
The win follows a disappointing defeat to Denmark in Wales' previous outing and lifts Bellamy's side off the bottom of Group A4, with Portugal six points clear at the top after beating Denmark on the same night.
