Kyrgyzstan, Iran and Japan Win Latest Wrestling Golds at Asian Games
Kyrgyzstan, Iran and Japan won the remaining wrestling golds decided on the latest day of action at the Asian Games, across the men's Greco-Roman 60kg and 77kg categories and the women's freestyle 62kg.
In the 60kg final, Kyrgyzstan's Zholoman Sharshenbekov beat Uzbekistan's Alisher Ganiev for gold, with Iraq's Sajjad Ali Mukasr Albidhan and Japan's Ayata Suzuki sharing bronze. In the 77kg final, Iran's Alireza Abdevali beat Japan's Nao Kusaka, with Kyrgyzstan's Akzhol Makhmudov and Qatar's Shahin Badaghimofrad taking bronze.
In the women's 62kg freestyle final, Japan's Nonoka Ozaki won gold ahead of North Korea's Ok Ju Kim, with Mongolia's Altjin Togtokh and China's Qi Zhang sharing bronze.
