In the men's speed final, Chu beat Iran's Reza Ali Pour Shenazandi Fard, with Kazakhstan's Damir Toktarov taking bronze. In the women's boulder final, Zhang beat Japan's Ai Mori, with South Korea's Chaehyun Seo completing the podium in bronze.

The results give China two golds across the discipline's four events, alongside Japan's win in the men's boulder and Indonesia's in the women's speed.
