Germany Held Goalless by Greece Again, Klopp Still Searching for Form

Germany were held to a 0-0 draw by Greece in Thessaloniki, leaving Jurgen Klopp with just one win from his first four matches in charge of the national team.

Germany dominated the ball and had 21 shots to Greece's four, with Florian Wirtz, Derry Scherhant and Tom Bischof all threatening. A Jonathan Burkardt effort was ruled out by VAR for a Bischof handball in the build-up. Greece defended resolutely, with Giorgos Masouras heading a late chance wide at the other end.

The result leaves Germany third in Group A2 on five points, three behind leaders Greece and Netherlands, who are level after the Dutch beat Serbia on the same night. Greece remain unbeaten through four matches, having already beaten Germany 1-0 earlier in the campaign.
