Harry Kane One Cap Away From Equalling Peter Shilton's England Appearance Record

Harry Kane is one appearance away from equalling Peter Shilton's all-time England men's caps record of 125 when the Three Lions host Czechia at Wembley tonight in the final match of this international window.

Kane has featured in each of England's Nations League fixtures this autumn, against Spain, Czechia away and Croatia, bringing him to 124 caps. Shilton's record has stood since 1990, when the former goalkeeper retired after England's semi-final exit at that year's World Cup. Kane became England's latest centurion in September 2024 and has continued to add to the tally as captain under Thomas Tuchel.

England sit second in Group A3 on six points, three behind leaders Spain, heading into this fixture. They head into the match off the back of a 7-0 demolition of Croatia in Rijeka on October 3, during which Kane scored twice to reach 89 international goals, England's all-time scoring record.
