The People's Republic of China defended their men's artistic gymnastics team title at the 2026 Asian Games, edging out hosts Japan 255.095 to 254.026 in Nagoya on Wednesday.

Zhang Boheng, the reigning individual all-around champion, sealed the win for China with a 14.200 on the horizontal bar in the final rotation.

Chinese Taipei took bronze with a total of 239.896, completing the podium at Nagoya City General Gymnasium.

The result extends China's dominance in the event, with the team now having successfully defended the Asian Games men's team title.
