Japan Sweep BMX Racing Golds Through Asuma Nakai and Sae Hatakeyama

Japan won both BMX racing golds at the Asian Games, with Asuma Nakai taking the men's title and Sae Hatakeyama the women's on home soil.

In the men's final, Nakai won gold and his teammate Hyoga Kiuchi took silver, giving Japan a 1-2 finish. China's Haochao Lin took bronze.

In the women's race, Hatakeyama won gold ahead of China's Wanyi Liao in silver. Indonesia's Jasmine Azzahra Setyobudi took bronze.

The wins add to a strong Games for the hosts. Japan sits second in the medal table with 41 golds and 172 medals in total, and has won more silvers (68) and bronzes (63) than any other country. The racing golds follow the freestyle BMX park titles, which Japan and China shared.
