Siobhan Haughey Ends Asian Games With Two Golds and Two Silvers

Siobhan Haughey finished the Asian Games 2026 with two golds and two silvers. The Hong Kong star won the women's 200m and 100m freestyle. She then added silvers in the 50m freestyle and the 4x100m freestyle relay.

Haughey won the 200m freestyle in 1:54.96, ahead of China's Li Jiaping (1:56.58). She followed with the 100m freestyle in 52.45, 0.76 seconds clear of Yu Yiting of China.

In the 50m freestyle she took silver in 24.32. China's Wu Qingfeng won gold in a Games-record 23.98, and Cheng Yujie of China took bronze. Haughey also helped Hong Kong to silver in the 4x100m freestyle relay. The team clocked a national record 3:36.59, and she split 52.22 on her leg.

Her four medals made up most of Hong Kong's swimming haul. The team finished third in the swimming table with two golds, three silvers and one bronze. Both golds were Haughey's. Ian Ho won silver in the men's 50m freestyle, and Natalie Kan took bronze in the women's 100m butterfly.
