Nitesh Kumar Wins India's Second Wrestling Medal With Greco-Roman 97kg Silver

India's Nitesh Kumar won silver in the men's Greco-Roman 97kg final at the Asian Games, losing to Japan's Yuri Nakazato, in a repeat of his runner-up finish at this year's Asian Championships.

It is India's second wrestling medal of the Games, after Sunil Kumar's bronze in the 87kg category, and continues a difficult but improving run for India's Greco-Roman squad, historically the weakest of the country's three wrestling disciplines at the Asian Games. Mongolia's Gankhuyag Ganbaatar and Iran's Mehdi Balihamzehdeh shared bronze in the category.
