Smriti Mandhana produced a career-defining innings as India Women thrashed Hong Kong, China Women by a massive 137 runs in Dubai, sealing India's place in the knockouts with a game to spare.

Sent in to bat, India were given a blistering platform by Mandhana, who smashed 124 off just 64 balls studded with 14 fours and 7 sixes — her highest T20I score. The knock also carried huge statistical weight: Mandhana became India's all-time leading run-scorer in women's international cricket, surpassing Mithali Raj's tally of 10,868, and now has the most sixes for India Women in the format, going past Harmanpreet Kaur. Shafali Verma supported with a quickfire 28, as India posted a daunting 193/5.

Hong Kong's chase never got going. India's bowlers ran through the top order, with Deepti Sharma — playing her 150th T20I earlier in the tournament — picking up 3/9, while Nandani Sharma, Shree Charani and Prema Rawat claimed two wickets apiece. Hong Kong lost their last six wickets for just four runs, folding for 56 in 16.2 overs. This is now India Women's second-biggest win by runs margin in T20I history.
