Liam Dawson was named Player of the Match for figures of 3 for 32 with the ball, with Jofra Archer marking his 50th T20I cap by taking two wickets of his own. The win extends England's dominance over Sri Lanka in the format to 14 consecutive victories, continuing a red-hot run under head coach Brendon McCullum and new white-ball mentor Kevin Pietersen, with the series-deciding dead rubber to follow at Old Trafford on Saturday.
