The tie swung back and forth, with India needing to dig deep after falling behind in the early rubbers. Sreeja Akula held her nerve in the deciding rubber to seal the win under pressure, with Manika Batra also playing a key role across the tie.

The win keeps India's medal hopes alive in the women's team event, extending a strong run through the competition after topping Group F undefeated.
