Seema Kaliramna Wins Bronze in Women's Discus Throw at CWG 2026

India's Seema Kaliramna won the bronze medal in the women's discus throw event at the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow, marking her maiden Commonwealth Games medal.

The result added to a strong day for India in the field events, coming on a day that also saw Lovepreet Singh clinch a weightlifting silver. Kaliramna's bronze contributed to India's growing medal tally in athletics at the Glasgow Games.

Her achievement was recognised alongside Lovepreet Singh's, with President Droupadi Murmu congratulating both athletes on their performances at the Games.
