Jadumani Singh Wins Silver in Men's 55kg Boxing at CWG 2026

Jadumani Singh won silver in the men's 55kg boxing final at the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow. He lost to Australia's Jye Dixon by unanimous decision after a close, hard-fought contest.

Jadumani edged the opening round 3-2 with a late flurry of punches, answering Dixon's early success with sharp counters. Dixon then took full control in the second round, sweeping all five judges 5-0 with well-timed combinations that swung the fight in his favour.

Jadumani reached the final on a strong unbeaten run. He opened his campaign with a 5-0 win over Scotland's Aaron Cullen, followed it with another 5-0 win over Pakistan's Sumama Rehman, and then beat Namibia's Haoseb Philip Pumulo by unanimous decision in the semifinal to book his place in the gold medal bout.

The silver is Jadumani's first Commonwealth Games medal. He had previously won a silver and a bronze at the 2025 World Boxing Cup.
