Man City Agree £65m Deal for Everton Winger Iliman Ndiaye

Manchester City have agreed a deal worth up to £65 million for Everton winger Iliman Ndiaye, with the move having reached the medical stage as deadline day negotiations moved quickly.

The package is structured as a guaranteed £60m with a further £5m available in add-ons. City's interest in Ndiaye accelerated after their pursuit of Liverpool's Cody Gakpo was scuppered when the Reds refused to sell without first securing a replacement. The Senegal international had also been in advanced talks with Tottenham before City's late intervention, dealing Spurs a significant setback in the process.

Ndiaye, who joined Everton from Marseille for £15m two years ago, scored six goals for David Moyes' side last season and offers versatility across the front line as a wide forward, attacking midfielder or second striker. His departure comes on the same day Everton agreed to take Jack Grealish back on loan from City, with the two deals negotiated in parallel but confirmed as entirely separate transactions.

The move would be City's fourth major addition of the summer following Elliot Anderson, Ayyoub Bouaddi and Brazilian winger Allan, continuing an aggressive rebuild under Pep Guardiola after missing out on the title last season.
