Arsenal Fight Back to Beat Chelsea 2-1, Join Man City Top of the Table

Arsenal came from behind to beat Chelsea 2-1 at the Emirates, surviving an early scare to move level with Manchester City at the top of the Premier League on nine points from three matches.

Chelsea stunned the home crowd inside 77 seconds when Morgan Rogers volleyed the visitors ahead, but Arsenal responded emphatically. Kai Havertz equalised against his former club in the 25th minute, and Pedro Neto hit the post for Chelsea right before the break as the sides went in level at 1-1. Five minutes into the second half, Havertz's clever dummy set up Martin Odegaard to sweep home the winner.

Chelsea pushed hard for an equaliser late on, with Reece James heading over and substitute Estevao denied by a superb save from David Raya in the 89th minute. Arsenal held on through four minutes of stoppage time to seal the win.

The result extends Arsenal's perfect start to the season, with five goals scored and just one conceded through three matches, while handing Chelsea their first dropped points of the campaign, leaving them on six points. It also extends Arsenal's all-time head-to-head advantage over Chelsea to 87 wins to 66 in a rivalry dating back to 1907.
