Endrick, Tchouameni and Pitarch Return to Real Madrid Training Ahead of Inter Clash

Real Madrid received a timely fitness boost with Endrick, Aurelien Tchouameni and Thiago Pitarch all returning to full group training on Sunday, giving Jose Mourinho fresh options ahead of Tuesday's Champions League opener against Inter Milan.

The trio had missed more than a month of pre-season work through injury, with Pitarch recovering from a torn medial collateral ligament and Endrick nursing a muscular problem, meaning a starting role for either against Inter remains unlikely. Their return is especially significant given Madrid's threadbare midfield options, with Eduardo Camavinga, Arda Guler and Bernardo Silva all suspended for the match. Newly signed teenager Sergio Martinez has also been training with the first team and could be handed an opportunity to fill the gap.

Endrick, who has yet to make an appearance this season, could be in line for his first involvement under Mourinho if selected, representing a potential competitive debut for the head coach. The timing is notable given Real Madrid's recent 1-0 defeat to Real Betis, their first loss of the season, adding extra motivation to bounce back strongly on the European stage. Ferland Mendy, Eder Militao, Rodrygo and Raul Asencio all continued their individual rehabilitation programmes separately and remain unavailable.
