Barcelona Name 23-Man Champions League Squad, Garcia Suspended for Feyenoord Clash

Barcelona have named their 23-man squad for their Champions League opener against Feyenoord, with Eric Garcia suspended following a red card in last season's quarterfinal exit to Atletico Madrid, while Frenkie de Jong and Roony Bardghji remain sidelined through injury.

De Jong continues his recovery from a medial knee ligament injury, while Bardghji is working back from a serious knee problem that is expected to keep him out for the majority of the season. Head coach Hansi Flick otherwise has no fresh injury concerns following the win over Valencia, with Jules Kounde and Joao Cancelo expected to fill the full-back roles behind a midfield anchored by Rodri, set for his Champions League debut for the club, alongside Pedri and Fermin Lopez.
