Ronaldo Named in Portugal Squad for Jorge Jesus's First Nations League Selection

Cristiano Ronaldo has been named in Portugal's squad for the upcoming Nations League fixtures, retaining his place under new head coach Jorge Jesus as the European champions begin the defence of their title.

Portugal open their Nations League title defence at home to Wales on September 24, before facing Norway home and away either side of a trip to Denmark in League A Group 4. Ronaldo continues to lead the line despite his advancing years, joined by fellow forwards Rafael Leao, who earns a recall despite limited game time at Galatasaray this season, and Goncalo Ramos, who has scored just once since becoming AC Milan's record signing.
