India Beat Zimbabwe by 35 Runs in 3rd T20I to Complete 3-0 Series Whitewash

India completed a clean sweep of the T20I series in Zimbabwe, beating the hosts by 35 runs in the 3rd T20I at the Harare Sports Club. The result gives India a 3-0 series win.

India batted first and posted 192 for 5. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi led the innings with 81 off 49 balls, striking 8 fours and 4 sixes. Rinku Singh played a quick cameo of 25 off 14, and Ishan Kishan added 29. Brad Evans was the pick of Zimbabwe's bowlers with 2 for 41.

Zimbabwe's chase never got going. Mayank Yadav struck twice in the powerplay, and Yash Thakur removed Dion Myers and Sikandar Raza off successive balls to leave Zimbabwe reeling. Ryan Burl fought hard for a fifty, finishing unbeaten on 54 off 43 balls, but the required rate had already slipped away. Mayank Yadav finished with 3 for 29, and Zimbabwe fell short at 157 for 7.

The win completes a dominant tour for India, who won all three matches of the series. It's Shreyas Iyer's first series win as India's full-time T20I captain, following winless tours of Ireland and England earlier this year.
