India, Zimbabwe Both Name Squads for Three-Match T20I Series in Harare
India and Zimbabwe have both named their squads for a three-match T20I series in Harare, starting Thursday. All three matches will be played at the Harare Sports Club, on July 23, 25 and 26.
India named their squad first, back on July 6. Shreyas Iyer continues as captain, with Tilak Varma as his deputy. The touring party is a young one, with uncapped players Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Prabhsimran Singh, Ashok Sharma and Harsh Dubey all in the mix, alongside the returning Rinku Singh and Mayank Yadav.
Zimbabwe have now followed with their own 15-man squad under Sikandar Raza. The home side have made three changes from the group that played Bangladesh recently. Wessly Madhevere and Newman Nyamhuri both return, and Tafadzwa Tsiga earns his first T20I call-up.
The two sides last met at the T20 World Cup 2026 Super Eight stage, where India won by 72 runs in Chennai. This series doubles as a chance for India to test fringe players, while Zimbabwe will fancy home conditions to close the gap.
